Field Applications Engineer - Slough - up to £32k plus 10% bonus plus £6k car allowance
Our client a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative PC hardware and software in the field of high performance display devices across multiple niche markets is looking for a field service Engineer. you role will be to: Evaluate requests for ?custom? software or hardware solutions and provide technical feedback to sales in the preparation of business cases for such requests. Support customers across multiple markets and territories when technical issues arise and visit customer on site if required. Represent our client at tradeshows and other business events and assist with configuration and preparation of tradeshow equipment and demos. Participate in customer meetings in conjunction with sale. Provide technical sales training to customers and colleagues. You must have: A bachelor?s degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a partly field based technical role. An excellent command of written and spoken English; good communications skills. Familiarity with modern PC architecture. A good working knowledge of modern Operating Systems, particularly Microsoft Windows. Desirable skills include: Knowledge of common graphics file formats and video compression systems would be advantageous, as would Windows programming skills.
